π Condo Overview & House Rules
- Check-in Time: Check-in is very straightforward. Unlock the door with your personal door code. Cleaners have properly prepared the condo for your arrival, ensuring everything is clean and neat. Take a quick look at the amenities to ensure everything promised is available. Then, settle in, pick rooms for your crew, unload belongings, and relax.
- Check-out Time: No later than 10:00 A.M. Please be courteous so our cleaner can get the condo ready for the next guests.

House Rules (Per HOA Rules):
- No Smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited.
- No Pets: Guest's pets are not permitted.
- Quiet Hours: Loud noise from televisions, sound generating equipment/instruments, and talking should be kept to a minimum at all times, especially from 11:00 P.M. to 8:00 A.M.
- Garbage Disposal: The trash chute is in the outside hallway. Please limit to 13-gallon trash bags.
- Thermostat: The condo is equipped with a smart thermostat. Tap the screen to brighten the display. Press the + or - symbols to adjust the temperature. Press Mode to change from Cool to Heat to Off. Fan should always be set to Auto. The thermostat has a presence sensor that will detect if the condo is empty and will set it to Away mode to conserve energy. Eco mode will keep the temperature between $64^\circ\text{F}$ and $76^\circ\text{F}$. Do not leave doors, windows, or sliding glass doors open when using A/C or heat. If sliding glass doors are open for more than 5 minutes, it will automatically set to Eco mode.
- Damage: If you find anything that requires maintenance, please report it to us immediately. We attempt to be very proactive about preventative maintenance.

π Key & Access
Your personal door code will unlock the door.
- Front Door: Use your personal door code.
- Parking: Parking is available in the adjacent parking garage, behind the building, with a covered walkway on the 3rd floor. There is also an elevator in the parking garage.
- Loading/Unloading: 20-minute loading and unloading is available directly underneath the building with shopping carts and luggage racks.
- Parking Passes: We provide 4 passes, hanging on the Keys hooks in the kitchen. Grab them when unloading and take them back to your car before moving to the garage. Remember to bring them back up to the condo and leave them in the unit upon check-out. There is a replacement fee described in your rental contract.
- Additional Parking: A small uncovered parking lot across the street (other side of Elliott Beach Rentals) belongs to Windy Hill Dunes. Public beach parking is also available beside the building and two blocks behind the building (these do not allow overnight parking).
Elevator Access
Windy Hill Dunes has 3 elevators (2 are glass):
- Ground floor: Load/Unload & Pools/Beach
- 2nd floor: Exercise Room
- 3rd floor: Walkway to Parking Garage
- 10th floor: Unit 1003
The Parking Garage has 1 elevator:
- 3rd floor: Walkway to Windy Hill Dunes
ποΈ Condo Amenities
What's Provided
Clean sheets, hand & bath towels, washcloths will be provided.
Full Kitchen, equipped with:
- Refrigerator, freezer, ice maker, dishwasher, microwave, oven, toaster oven, toaster, crock pot, electric skillet, blender, coffee maker, Keurig
- Pots & pans, measuring cups, can opener, cooking utensils, serving dishes, tupperware
- Place settings including plenty silverware, plates, bowls, cups & glasses
More:
- Hair dryer
- Iron & table
- Vacuum cleaner, broom, mop, dust buster
- Washer & Dryer
- Pack & Play crib for infants, high chair
- Beach chairs, some toys (some may be available in closet, but not guaranteed)
Kitchen
- The first door in the hallway is intended to be used as a pantry for your dry food.
- Please allow a couple of hours for the refrigerator to cool down new groceries.
- The toaster oven can be used as a toaster or an oven. Be careful to set the knobs correctly.
- The kitchen faucet has a sprayer.
- The garbage disposal switch is above the counter, to the left of the sink.
Coffee Maker
Your condo features 2 coffee makers: a single-serve Keurig (for K-cup drinkers) and a traditional 4-cup coffee maker (for fresh grounds, filters, etc.).
Keurig tips (follow this order):
- Power: Turn on power.
- Water: Fill coffee mug with water, flip up back lid, place entire mug over reservoir, pour water into Keurig, place mug under coffee maker.
- Pod: Open silver handle, water will drain into machine, insert k-cup pod, close handle.
- Brew: Press brew button on top to start (approx. 1 min to brew).
Please bring your own supplies: K-cups and/or grounds & filters, sweeteners, and creamers.
Grilling
Grilling is not permitted on the balcony. Windy Hill Dunes offers Big Green Eggs (premium outdoor ceramic kamado style charcoal grills) available beside the pools.
- Charcoal: Use lump natural coal and natural starters (available at Bi-Lo). You'll need to provide charcoal & a lighter.

Electronics
- TVs: See "TV & Cable" section for details.
- Blu-Ray player: Available in the Living Room.
- Alarm Clocks: Have a USB charging port, night light & nap functions.
- Extension Cords: Provided for easy access for your chargers.
- Alexa: Say 'Alexa', ...
- Security System: The condo is equipped with a passive security system that can detect open doors, motion, and water leaks. No codes are required to arm/disarm the system.
TV & Cable
The condo features 4 Smart Roku HD TVs: 1 in the Living Room and 1 in each of the 3 bedrooms.
- Remote: There should be 1 Roku TV Remote in each room. Use it to turn on the TV and access the Roku Home screen.
- Volume: Change TV volume or mute from the side of the remote.
- Cable TV: Select the Spectrum app. Once open, press the left directional arrow to see a list of channels.
- Streaming Apps: We offer subscriptions to Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Video, as well as apps from Showtime, HGTV, ESPN, Comedy Central, ABC News, PBS Kids, among others. When starting Netflix or Hulu, select the 1003 profile to browse or search.
- Settings: We have attempted to set up the TVs with a logical and simple interface. Please do not change any settings. If you have questions, feel free to reach out to Brent at (704) 918-5001 for best effort support.
- Remote Care: Remotes are configured for specific rooms; please keep them near the TV they control. Return them to the tables beside the couch or beds before check-out.
Laundry
Washing Machine and Dryer are both included. Please be prepared to provide your own laundry detergent and fabric softener, etc.
ποΈ What to Pack
Please remember that linens are provided, but consumable products are not.
Please plan to bring or buy:

- Toilet Paper, Paper Towels, Napkins, Sanitizing Wipes
- Soaps: Hand, Dishwasher, Laundry
- Plastic bags: Ziplocs, 4gal and 13gal trash bags (some provided)
Other items or categories to help with your packing list:
- Clothes for: the beach/pools, dinner/shopping, golf/running, etc.
- Accessories: sandals, hats, light jacket, etc.
- Toiletries: soaps, shampoo, shaving, toothbrush & paste, etc.
- Beach stuff: sunscreen, cooler, chairs, toys, games, etc.
- Drinks: water, milk, juices, soda, adult beverages, etc.
- Coffee: grounds, K-cups, creamers, sweeteners, etc.
- Food: snacks, meals, bread, milk, PB&J, eggs, meats, cheeses, etc.
- Condiments: salt/pepper, butter, cooking spray, ketchup, etc.
- Sharpie (to write names on water bottles, baggies, etc.)
π Community Amenities
Pools
Windy Hill Dunes has 1 large pool, 1 shallow pool, 1 lazy river, and 1 hot tub available for use. The pool is heated starting April 1.
- Typical Hours: 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.
- Pool Bands: Issued by the pool attendant (Memorial - Labor Day). Guests must provide our Rental Agreement listing each individual in the guest party. Pool bands must be worn at all times by all guests in the pool area.
- Pool Rules (Important ones):
- Pool furniture cannot be saved/reserved.
- You must stay on a tube to use the Lazy River.
- Children under 14 must be supervised by a parent/guardian.
- No Running.
Please ensure that you abide by all of the posted pool rules.
Fitness Center
The exercise room is located on the 2nd floor and contains:
- 3 treadmills
- 2 stationary bikes
- 1 elliptical machine
- TV & water fountain
Use the Building key to access the exercise room.

Beach & Tides
The beach is right off your balcony, or through the glass elevators, pools, and over the dunes!
- North Myrtle Beach: Consists of four formerly independent beaches: Windy Hill, Crescent Beach, Ocean Drive, and Cherry Grove.
- Oceanfront: About nine miles of oceanfront beach, and one fishing pier in Cherry Grove.
- Beach Services: Provides umbrella and chair rentals (late April to mid October, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.), soft drinks, Italian Ice, and other concessions. Contact Beach Services at (843) 280-5684 to reserve.

Contain the emergency first!
- Water main shutoff: In the outside closet, above the water heater.
- Electrical circuit breakers: Located behind the door of the 2nd bedroom.
- Fire extinguisher: Below the kitchen sink.
- Emergency: Dial 911 from condo phone or any cell phone.

Departure Checklist
Please sign our Guest Book and let us know where you are from and what was unique about your stay!
To ensure that our next guests have a great experience, please reference this checklist as you check out:
- Check-out Time: No later than 10:00 A.M. Please be courteous so our cleaner can get the condo ready for the next guests.
- Furniture & Decor: Return to original location. Place TV remotes beside each bed/couch.
- Dishes: Put any dirty dishes and dishwasher soap in dishwasher and turn on.
- Refrigerator: Empty your belongings. If you leave condiments, write the date on the side for others.
- Appliances: Unplug toaster oven and coffee maker.
- Trash: Take out all trash and try to leave the condo as neat as possible.
- Beach Gear: Make sure all beach chairs, boogie boards, and sand toys are washed off and placed back in the outside closet.
- Keys: Leave (4) Parking Passes and a keyring with the Building (workout room and trash) key and outside Closet key at the key station in the kitchen.
- Lock Up: Make sure the doors, windows, outside closet, and front door are locked. (Your code will stop working after check-out time.)
